2011—The Year of the Rabbit

(compiled from various sources)

According to the Chinese Zodiac the Year of 2011 is the Year of the Rabbit, which begins on February 3, 2011 and ends on January 22, 2012.  The Rabbit is the fourth sign of the Chinese Zodiac, which consists of 12 animals signs.  The Rabbit is a lucky sign.  Rabbits are private individuals and a bit introverted.  People born in the Year of the Rabbit are reasonably friendly individuals who enjoy the company of a group of good friends.  They are good teachers, counselors and communicators, but also need their own space.

The Year of the Rabbit should be a peaceful year, a time of calm, leisure and rest, much welcomed after the Year of the Tiger. Money can be made more easily, but can also be spent more easily. A time to watch out that we do not become too indulgent. The influence of the Rabbit tends to spoil those who like too much comfort and thus impair their effectiveness and sense of duty.

The year of the Rabbit is traditionally associated with home and family, artistic pursuits, diplomacy, and keeping the peace. Therefore, 2011 is very likely to be a relatively calmer one than 2010 both on the world scene, as well as on a personal level. An opportunity for relaxation, pleasure, family gatherings, entertainment and comfortable travel.

A temperate year with unhurried pace. For once, it may seem possible for us to be carefree and happy without too many annoyances. Take advantage of this period because the Dragon year that follows will bring a wilder, more exhausting time.

According to Chinese tradition, the Rabbit brings a year in which you can catch your breath and calm your nerves.  It is a time for negotiation.  Don't try to force issues, because if you do you will ultimately fail.  To gain the greatest benefits from this time, focus on home, family, security, diplomacy, and your relationships with women and children.

Good taste and refinement will shine on everything and people will acknowledge that persuasion is better than force. A congenial time in which diplomacy, international relations and politics will be given a front seat again.

We will be supported in acting with discretion and in making reasonable concessions without too much difficulty.

Make it a goal to create a safe, peaceful lifestyle, so you will be able to calmly deal with any problem that may arise.

you are the final master of your own fate.
