Are You Awake?

Do you want to sleep on the job?
Are you lulled into lethargy by lack of stimulation?
Or are you over-stimulated, using numbness and sleep as your defense?
Are you looking for the most comfortable way to live?

Life is fun, safe and easy when I have learned to be happy with what is.
Life is fun, safe and easy when I listen within and follow with full trust.
Life is fun, safe and easy when I let go of making up scary stories and worries.
Life is fun, safe and easy when I free myself of distraction, detours and delays.

Jump in and move through.
Be prepared for the surprises in life by keeping focus.
Clear the fear with instant forgiveness and faith.
Enjoy the ride by expressing fully.
Be peaceful and flow with change.
Immediately forgive any mistakes.
Appreciate everything you value.
Honor all beings and their process.
Heal the past with blessings of kindness.
Respect all life and do no harm.
Pay attention to what you love and what loves you.
Breathe in the Goodness that all ready is.

These are just a few of the reminders to STAY AWAKE!

Loving you,

Betty Lue

Mother Earth

Earth Day is officially April 22, this Thursday!

Do we acknowledge the source of sustenance from which we all benefit?
Do you honor what is given to us everyday as the resource of all life?
Do we give homage to what is ours without expectation or demand?
Do we appreciate and bless what blesses us with air, water, food and resources?

Most natural peoples have a full appreciation and respect for the Goodness of the Mother.
Most farmers are truly aware and appreciate the livelihood they receive from the Earth.
Most children find fascination and joy in playing with the many wonders of nature.
Most naturalists are consumed with the privilege of studying the many miracles of the natural world.

So what is it with the rest of us who live mostly inside our four walls, avoiding too much sun?
What is it with modern culture that artificially consumes Vitamin D and uses sun-tanning skin dyes?
What is it with the need to go faster and stock pile excess and use more than we need of everything?
What is it that causes us to take  for granted the bountiful and beautiful gifts of Mother Earth?

Kill bugs with pesticides.
Fertilize overused soil.
Eat radiated and preserved foods.
Drink chemically enhanced water.
Consume animal products .
Eat fast food with loads of fat and sugar.
Raise livestock and poultry treated poorly.
Pay more for the packaging than to the farmer.
Cut down trees to build homes and towns.
Put into our air and water substances that are toxic.

And still we expect the Source of our Good to bless us with abundant Sunlight and endless resources.

A little gratitude goes a long way……..
Let this week be about showing respect and appreciation for our wondrous resource.
Plant a tree.
Pick up trash.
Abstain from the processed foods you know are not the Best.
Say thank you when you prepare and eat your healthy salad.
Truly see and appreciate the budding flowers and trees.
Drive out to the country and watch the birds and wildlife.
Feel joy and wonder at the play of shadow and light.
Take some pictures of all the beauty that you see.

The more we fully appreciate the Abundant Goodness that already is, the more we have.
The more we appreciate, the more we can see and receive.
The more we appreciate, the more we conserve and use wisely.
The more we appreciate, the more secure and blessed we feel.

And so it is that this week, we can truly appreciate the Blessings of Mother Earth.
We are blessed.
Betty Lue

Chorus of Robert’s Song from many years ago.
We thank you Mother for your Love.
We thank you Father for your Light.
We do receive your Blessings.
And we Love You.

Inspiration

What keeps you going?
What makes you happy?
What fills you with joy?
What spiritualizes your life?

The work in life is to be fully alive.
The work is to live abundantly.
The work is to clear the way to live with Love in your heart.
The work is to live with appreciation and open-mindedness.

What supports you in being fully alive?
What encourages you to play and create?
What gives you the inspiration to live to the fullest?
What inspires you to give freely unconditionally from your heart?

This is how you are inspired.
Everyday in every way fill yourself spiritually.
Everyday in every moment receive inspiration from All That Is.
Everyday in every choice, allow yourself to be grateful.

Being Special comes from loving ourselves especially well.
Specialness is found not in another relationship, but with Love for yourself.
Being Loved the way you want comes only from loving yourself in the ways that are Best for you.
Being Loving is found in living in Love and giving with Joy to all you encounter and all you do.

How can you not be inspired by a life that is inspiring?
How can you not enjoy each moment when your life is filled with inspiration?
How can you get lost when you let the lightheartedness of joy and gratitude lead?
How can you not feel fulfilled when you fill yourself with the Love of doing Good?

Life is meant to be enjoyed.
Are you enjoying the life you are giving yourself?
Do you reach for the sun?
Do you enjoy the flowers blossoming in the spring?
Do you love to see a baby laugh and coo?
Do you remember to bless your food and all those who brought it to your table?
Do you give yourself permission to do what you really want at least an hour each day?
Do you look and in the mirror and like what you see?
Do you value what you have and treat your life with respect?
Do you remember to thank everyone who serves you and helps you?
Do you interact with your family and friends with open love and appreciation?
Do you sing whenever you feel like singing and dance with the wind and life’s changing winds?
Do you love You with a Love that is True always?

I do!
Betty Lue is always Loving You and Me and All!

Loving You

“Loving You”
This is my customary salutation …. because it is True for me.

I love You.
I love the Essence of You, the Authentic You.

I trust you in your life journey.
I trust you to learn and heal and grow.

I know you change attitude, emotions, awareness, life history, seasons and experiences.
I know you are an ever-changing energetic being who is always evolving.

I free you to be the best you can be in each moment.
I free you from pleasing me.

I encourage you to please yourself.
I encourage you to fully support your purpose in Being.

I celebrate with you your successes.
I celebrate all the learning and growth, service and contribution you are choosing.

I forgive and erase with love any and all mistakes.
I forgive and release our forgetting to be grateful.

I believe in you and your inner peace and possibilities.
I believe you can do whatever you choose with vision and determination.

I perceive you as empowered with the vision of your inner Light.
I perceive you healed, whole and holy, living your Truth.

I respect you for being willing to “go for it”.
I respect the Goodness that you live and give.

I honor the Goodness, Beauty and Love within you.
I honor the creative expressions of Love that you give to our world.

I thank you for being in my life, now and always.
I thank you for Being on this sacred journey with me.

I remember we are all Love expressing ItSelf.
I remember we are all in this together, all One.

I bless you for being the Love You Are.
I bless your life for showing the Way Home.

Loving you,

Betty Lue

Give Where It Counts

From the Tao Te Ching
“The way of man is taking from those who lack and giving to those who abound.
The way of Heaven is taking from those who abound and giving to those who Lack.”

If you are lacking, receive from Heavenly Sources.
If you are abundant, give to those who are ready for the blessing.

To pour our energies into getting more has little real lasting reward.
To invest resources and energy on those who truly benefit is a great blessing for all.

Life is a flow of giving and receiving.
To slow the flow with fear and judgment limits what is natural.
To open the flow with freedom and trust allows abundant Goodness.
Give with gratitude and joy and you will receive gratitude and joy in the giving.

To have All, give All To All.
This refers to true giving of Love and Peace, Joy and Freedom, Enlightenment and Vision.
Money provides a temporary experience of comfort, security, food and shelter.
Lasting comfort and security, resting in Eternal Goodness that already is and comes from within.

Consider using your worldly treasures to provide a place of undistracted Peace wherein you can live.
Consider letting the world be your laboratory in which you experiment with how to live at Peace.
Consider allowing the playground of your life to be a place to practice, giving and receiving.
Consider removing all obstacles, fears and doubts to fully being the Love You Are.

April 15 is Tax Day.
How do you tax yourself?
How do you use you self-made taxation? ( “I have to pay for…….:
Are you respectful of all your resources using them for the highest Good?
Have you considered giving a portion of everything you receive to benefit others?

We must learn what we “earn” is our “earnest money”, our investment in the Good we seek in our lives.
We can invest in creating a world around us that supports our highest vision for everyone.
We can build a future for ourselves, our families, our communities and our world that benefits all.
We can share what we have for the Greater Good without losing anything and gaining everything.

Seek within to receive what you have with full gratitude.
See all around you the benefits of the Love You Are.
Enjoy the dividends of your investment in your own Goodness.
Give attention to that which blesses you and blessings will abound.

Whenever I am given the opportunity to give, I ask within : “What is the best way I can love and serve?”
When I have more than enough of anything (wisdom, love, money, ideas), I ask “How can I share this?”
When I share and give, I always receive again that which I have given.
When I am respectful and grateful for what is given and received, I amplify its value and benefit.

And so it is, that I commend you for your true giving nature.
For it is in giving that you receive.

Life is for giving.
You are the Gift.
It is in giving that you realize the gift you are and the blessings you have bestowed.

Loving you,

Betty Lue

All Good

Everything Good comes from Good and must return to the Goodness from which it comes.
All Abundance comes from the Universal Abundance Account of Good It Self.
Use it only for Goodness Sake and you will increase your Abundant Flow of Good.
The work is to not divert, block or misuse the Good we receive, as it flows to us and through us.

What does this mean in practical terms?
How does one apply these rather spiritual statements?
How do you receive all Good and only Good?
How can you let go of the past and open the flow to Peace and Prosperity Now?

The process of life is to undo what is not true.
What we believe we will perceive.
If you believe your supply is limited, that is what you will generate.
Believe you wholeheartedly deserve and are grateful for the Good that is yours.

Forgive, erase, clear, undo, release the past, yours and your family systems.
Clear your mind of what you judge to be limiting, lacking and belittling.
Erase what scares and contracts you with fear, so that you can feel loved and open to Infinite Love.
See your inheritance as from The Infinite Unlimited Supply rather than from the limitations of humanity.

To celebrate and appreciate is to increase, invite, enjoy and honor the Good available to All.
To be thankful and to respect what your receive everyday (air, water, earth, food, shelter) is honorable.
To utilize everything for Goodness Sake is to be a conscious and respectful steward of what you have.
When we deny, denigrate, defile or waste the Good that is given, the supply diminishes in our disrespect.

Prepare and eat and bless the food on your table.
Be grateful for the home you live in, the transportation you use, the bed you sleep on, the air you breathe.
Live in gratitude and enjoyment of what you have with respect for its value and you will have more.
Life in judgment, fear and ignoring the blessings you have and they may diminish.

What you value, give attention to increases.
If your intention is on what you don’t have, that too will increase.
To the degree we are focused on Good and only Good, we experience more Good and Only Good.
When we are focused with thoughts and words on bad luck and lack, we experience more of the same.

The white board of our mind is ours to clear.
The inner creative computer can access paths to fulfillment or paths to disaster.
We are at the controls and can choose to clear the fear and choose again for supply.
We are capable of undoing the limiting conceptions and perceptions and creating anew.

Affirmations (to be written and spoken or chanted 20 + times daily, until you clear limiting beliefs)
I know I am Good and I live and give the Highest Good.
Today I fully open to receive All Good and Only Good.
Everyday I choose to use the Good I receive to be used and given for the Sake of the Highest Good.
I am willing to be a channel and a messenger of Good for All, including myself.

Loving You,
Betty Lue

Parenting and Other Attachments

Written mostly in response to concerns of a mother of older teen.
It also applies to most special “love” relationships.

Attachment is the source of all suffering and disappointment.
Emancipation can be painful when a parent (person) clings or is needy.
Freedom is our natural state.
When we deny freedom to ourselves or others, we are inter-fearing in their flow.

Ask yourself whether you can trust your parenting (relationship) skills.
Ask yourself what you were doing as a teen and throughout your life
Are you projecting your judgments of your choices and behaviors onto others?
How does your past behavior generate your thoughts about your loved ones?
How is your parenting alike or different than your parents?
Most important, ask the loved one what he/she wants her relationship to be with you?.
Ask your loved one what he/she believes they are ready to be responsible for?

Love is freedom, and trust....
Freedom to make choices.  ( For a young child, “Do you want milk or juice to drink?”
For older teen “What time is appropriate for you to be home?”

“Do you see this as the best choice for you?”
For older person, “ What is the best choice you can make in this circumstance?”

Fear is restriction and doubting.
Do you love and want the best for the loved one or are you afraid for him/her?
Trust frees the other to make choices and learn from their choices.
This does not prevent you from giving more information, as does a consultant.

Most of us know the answers to all our questions, when we calm our emotions and are at peace.
We may ask others for agreement on how to let go and emancipate ourselves and others.
We need to forgive our judgments of our own “mistakes” to allow others to make their own.
I trust you have modeled for others how to correct mistakes along the way and to learn from everything.

Most of us are teaching our loved ones what we expect from them (fear might happen).
People often fulfill our fears because we have taught them falsely.
We can teach our loved ones by example to be responsible, to trust themselves and to choose wisely.
We can model trust and freeing ourselves to learn by making our own choices and always learning.

Know I love you and trust in your Love.
I do not trust in fear and self doubt.
I trust in the Truth in you as God and Good for everyone and everything.
“I easily let go and free others to be the best they choose to be.”

Loving you,

Betty Lue

¤      I love you      ¤
and I know you love me too.

LOVE IS FREEDOM
The freedom for you and I to be who we are.
The freedom to live life as we do.
The freedom to make mistakes and learn from them.
The freedom to express our own truth as we see it.

LOVE IS TRUST
The trust that there is a constant flow of love,
no matter what.
The trust that, in spite of life’s problems,
we believe in and support each other’s right
to live as we choose.
The trust that in adversity,
there is healing and learning and gifts of love.
The trust that under conflict and emotional expression,
there is love

I love you and I trust you.
I free you to be all you are.

Love Your Self Well

When you love and appreciate yourself fully, you easily love and appreciate others.
When you trust and respect yourself consistently, you naturally trust and respect others.
When your free yourself from seeking others' approval, you free others from needing your approval.
When you give yourself the best, you seek the best for others.

What is best for you is best for others.
When you truly give yourself the highest and best, you model impeccable self care.
When you treat your mind, body and spirit with respect, you show others the benefits.
When you choose what supports the Best in you, you contribute your Best to your world.

Do not harm yourself.
Your life is a precious and sacred gift, so do no harm to the gift of your life.
Stop all habits that are destructive or interfere with living your highest potential.
Give up ways you have polluted your mind and body with negative images, substances or experiences.

Honor your inner Truth.
Know the principle, values and mission which you are living.
Be prepared to live your Truth in the face of adversity or cultural differences.
Consistently speak, demonstrate and teach integrity by both your private and public life.

Be kind to yourself.
Instantly forgive all mistakes, past, present and future.
Spend no time in self pity or self hatred.
Think of and speak of yourself with appreciation, positive regard and kindness.

Give yourself opportunities to play and enjoy life.
Play in the dirt, run free on the beach, laugh at yourself and enjoy the gift of nature.
Establish a balanced schedule of work and play, creativity and rest.
Take pause simply to breathe in all the Goodness and Beauty around you.

Create your life to fulfill you with love, support and appreciation.
Trust your inner voice and the choices you make.
Free yourself to explore the unknown by taking adventures into the joy of wonder.
Celebrate your vision by  attracting like-minded folks who say YES to You.

This is Your Life.
Why not Love it into being just right for you?
Why not let go of those thoughts, people and experiences that no longer serve you?
Why not seek the gift and blessing in all things, since you are still learning and growing?

Be willing to Love you.
This is a gift you are giving to you for all of us.
We thank You.
Betty Lue

How To Love Yourself
1. STOP ALL CRITICISM
Criticism never changes a thing. Refuse to criticize yourself. Accept yourself exactly as you are. Everybody changes. When you criticize yourself, your changes are negative. When you approve of yourself, your changes are positive.
2.
DON’T SCARE YOURSELF
Stop terrorizing yourself with your thoughts. It’s a dreadful way to live. Find a mental image that gives you pleasure (mine is yellow roses), and immediately switch your scary thought to a pleasure thought.
3.
BE GENTLE AND KIND AND PATIENT
Be gentle with yourself. Be kind to yourself. Be patient with yourself as you learn the new ways of thinking. Treat yourself as you would someone you really loved.
4.
PRAISE YOURSELF

Criticism breaks down the inner spirit. Praise builds it up. Praise yourself as much as you can. Tell yourself how well you are doing with every little thing.
5.
BE KIND TO YOUR MIND

Self hatred is only hating your own thoughts. Don’t hate yourself for having the thoughts. Gently change your thoughts.
6.
SUPPORT YOURSELF

Find ways to support yourself. Reach out to friends and allow them to help you. It is being strong to ask for help when you need it.
7.
BE LOVING TO YOUR NEGATIVES

Acknowledge that you created them to fulfill a need. Now you are finding new, positive ways to fulfill those needs. So, lovingly release the old negative patterns.
8.
TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY

Learn about nutrition. What kind of fuel does your body need to have optimum energy and vitality? Learn about exercise. What kind of exercise can you enjoy? Cherish and revere the temple you live in.
9.
MIRROR WORK

Look into your eyes often. Express this growing sense of love you have for yourself. Forgive yourself looking into the mirror. Talk to your parents looking into the mirror. Forgive them too. At least once a day say: “I love you, I really love you!”
10.
LOVE YOURSELF...DO IT NOW

Don’t wait until you get well, or lose the weight, or get the new job, or the new relationship. Begin now, and do the best you can.

25th Anniversary

Yes. 25 years ago Robert and I answered “Yes” to “Will You Wed with Me in Christ?”
We did not know each other personally and really didn’t understand what that question would mean.
This was a Spirit-Guided Union, and I often say Robert was God Sent. Our relationship from the beginning has been very unique, always with utmost respect for one another and always with the intention of supporting the highest and best for each other. We have given our lives to Loving Service for the Good of All and so our relationship has been truly Spirit-guided and directed to Service.

Our story is simple. In 1985, I asked within to learn why I saw so many people fear Love, the deep abiding and steadfast Love, that seemed always to be in my heart and mind. Within two months Robert and his business partner came into my life as financial consultants and then as a volunteer business consultant for my then Pathways Center for Counseling, Healing and Growth. Shortly thereafter without ever having a prior personal conversation or interaction, I found myself asking that question to Robert, imagining that I was asking for spiritual partnership.  Neither of us realized that this would mean spiritual union, a worldly marriage and  lifetime of commitment to service together.

We continue to be blessed with many opportunities.  We have been guided to use all our financial resources, our talents and training to serve.  We have initiated 12 non-profit holistic centers and retreats in five states over the last 25 years, and have worked with thousands of holistic practitioners, ministers, therapists and clients  with trainings, retreats, workshops, and our holistic educational programs and individual services.  Our lives are rich with loving unconditionally, giving everything from the heart, and always remembering God and the intrinsic Goodness in all creation.

We continue to be creative and delighted in the new ways we can love and serve our grandchildren and families, the communities around us both at the Unity Church and Center for Inspired Living in Brentwood and our new Reunion Center in Pleasant Hill. There is no limit to what the Spirit in us can do with Love and Joy in us.  We live very simple lives personally and stay open to be “on call for God and for doing Good.”

I cannot imagine a more respectful supportive, generous and loving partner than Robert.  He will always be my best friend and confidante, my sounding board and co-creator.  Robert is an extraordinary man in the many ways in lives his mission to “ teach, model and inspire Spirit-guided Living”. Together we are happy and inspired to continue always giving our very best to inspire, encourage and facilitate the Highest Potential in everyone we encounter.

We love being Love in our world,
Betty Lue

The Gift You Are

You are the gift.
In your healing, I am healed.
In your smiling, I find joy.
In your learning, I am filled with wisdom.
In your free expressions, I am empowered.
In your abundance, I too prosper.
In your spontaneity, I am set free.
In your joy, I know heaven.

And so it is that you give your Self to me
And I receive you with love and gratitude.
I am the gift I give to You
And I fully receive the gift I freely give.

As I know You, I know my Self.
As I give to you, I receive all good.
As I support you, I am supported by the Universe.
As I honor and respect you, I experience gratitude in all my being.
As I love you, I am loving all of God's creation.

I know you and believe in you.
I honor, respect and support you in being.
In you and me is all the Universe.
We are gifts to one another.

Being Truly Helpful

Is it helpful to let someone lie, cheat or steal?
Is it helpful to let someone do harm?
Is it helpful to help someone continue hurting themselves?
Is it helpful to let someone be disrespectful to you?

No, we know this is not good for the other or for ourselves.
How often do caregivers and co-dependents avoid confrontation?
How much do the over givers keep on giving hoping the other will change?
How often do the pleasers and “nice” guys try never to be angry or confront someone with boundaries?

When we imagine others have similar values and attitudes, we make up they will respond as we would.
When we are afraid being assertive will cause others to attack us, we may avoid setting rules.
When we believe others do no behave appropriately because they don’t have enough love, we may try to make up for their past.
When we are unwilling to see what the other is telling us with their behavior, we cannot respond appropriately.

Trust what you see from another is their current state of mind, belief, ability and choice.
Trust that what others tell you is what they believe is best to say or do to get their needs met.
Trust others, who have not met their own needs (safety, security, belonging and achievement), cannot be expected to meet ours.
Trust when you are trying to help someone, you must first know if they want help and what help they are seek.

When you give help to anyone, they will either value it or devalue it according to your implied interpersonal contract.
If you give help as a handout, it will be valued differently than when you help someone as an exchange.
If you reach out with help, value the one in need, the help given and yourself equally.
Remember that everyone is equally important, so make sure you help without sacrifice to yourself.

Being truly helpful requires great care and attention to the response of the recipient.
Being truly helpful asks us to look at our intention in giving the help.
Being truly helpful suggests that we have assesses the other is really in need or even helpless.
Being truly helpful demands that we listen to the other and within to ourselves to know what is best.

Strengthen the strong by appreciating and valuing their ability.
Strengthen the weakened by encouraging them to learn to be strong and capable.
Strengthen yourself by valuing and appreciating your ability and willingness to give.
Strengthen yourself by knowing how and when and with whom to be truly helpful.

Offer help without judgment, attachment or conditions,
How may I help you?:
Respect the answer you receive.
Appreciate and receive all you give.

Loving you in letting go of co-dependence and modeling independence and self-actualization,
Betty Lue

Effectiveness in Asking for Help

Complaining seems like you are powerless and no one can really be helpful.
Whining seems like a childish way to get attention.
Criticizing seems like you know what is best and what is right.
Pleading seems like you are desperate to get the help that hasn’t come.

Requesting help sounds like you know what you want and how to ask for it.
Thanking another for the help they will be giving sounds like trusting and appreciating.
Praying someone will help you sounds like counting on others to know what and how to help.
Being clear about what you want and requesting it sounds like being responsible for yourself.

When we feel needy (sick, unprepared, incompetent, unknowing, impoverished, we need help.
We usually return to the habits of our childhood that seemed to work then.
We often assume others will respond as they did when we were dependent on our caregivers.
We rarely take into consideration the willingness, knowledge, skill and current state of others.

To be effective in asking for help, we need to first be in touch with our own state of mind and body.
To be effective in getting the help we really need, we need to be clear and wise in our choices.
To be effective we need to consider the needs of the other with the best timing and manner of request.
To be effective we need to be prepared to request exactly what we want allowing for other’s opinions.
To be effective we need to be willing to be grateful for any help we receive.

I feel scared and I want reassurance, and I am willing to ask if you can give me what I am asking.
I feel sick and I want help in feeling better, and I am asking if you have the ability to be helpful.
I feel ignorant and I want information, and I am willing to keep asking the questions.
I feel needy and I want comfort, and I am willing to comfort myself with love and peace.

What we need to be effective is to be clear about who we are asking, about why we are asking and what we are asking for.  When we are consumed with our own circumstance, we may forget  about our clarity, our request and the current state of the one from whom we request help.  Let us be open to hearing “no” and respecting the other’s needs with love and appreciation. Let us honor ourselves by not requesting from one who is incapable or unwilling.  Let us love ourselves well by asking for what we want from those who are capable and willing.  And always to respond, before, during and after with total appreciation, receiving the blessing with Love.

Loving us all in becoming more effective,

Betty Lue

On Wednesdays we usually are with our grandchildren in Alameda for the day with clients and class in the evening. Today the children are on spring break and with their Mom and on play-dates with friends.
Today several clients cancelled and no class, so I am at my home office with plenty to do. People are calling for correspondence, responding with love to one another via writing.  A dear friend from Indiana called early this AM for some spiritual direction and another Minister of Reunion from MI emailed for help with a change of lifestyle and re-direction of service.  Here I am completing my Loving Reminders afternoon, because my open and willing life brings change.  I welcome the diversity and opportunity to see what comes next.
Life is good when I am open and willing for the Good that is coming my way.

Wherever there is space, it is filled with Love.
Wherever there is opening, there is room for new growth, new possibilities of service and creativity.
Change opens the way to renewed activity of God and Goodness, when we make room.
Change must allow for the organic natural creations of inspiration, gratitude and joy.

When we fill our minds with fear, doubt, distrust, regret, guilt and uncertainty, change is fearful.
When we fill our minds with love, confidence, trust, gratitude and forgiveness, change is exciting.

These are powerful affirmations supporting change.
Everything works together for Good.
Everything always works more exquisitely than I can plan.
We are always in the right place at the right time doing the right thing for the right reasons.
I trust God and Goodness in all things.

Spring is a time to plow under the old and be with the new.
Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.
Where we are hanging onto the old, there is no room for change, renewal and transformation.
What is coming is unknown and where we fear the unknown we cling to the known.

Breathing opens my mind.
Loving opens my heart.
Inspiration opens my voice.
Loving Kindness opens my hands.

I love to be open.
The openness is an ever-renewing and vitalizing spirit of life.
The openness allows me to learn and teach in expansive and exciting way.
The openness is a gift of joy, gratitude and appreciation to me and for my life.

Are you willing to let go of being closed and constricted?  To let go of doubt and fear?
Are you willing to open your mind?
Are you willing to open your heart?
Are you willing to open your voice?
Are you willing to be open to the Good works you are here to fulfill?

Let’s see what comes when we release the past and stay open and willing for the future.

Do No Harm

Do not harm yourself or others.
Do not speak about others in unkind ways.
Do not imagine or wish harm to anyone.
Do not harm yourself with guilt, self pity or neglect.

When we are content, in love and happy with ourselves, no one and nothing will hurt our feelings.
When we are at peace, with no guilt, shame, regret or resentment, no harm will come to us.
When we are full of the light and love of the good within us, we do not take on the pain of others.
When we are extending love, appreciation and open-mindedness, we see only the need to give Love.

When we are upset by something or someone, it shows us where we have a wound in the past.
When we are afraid of someone or something, it is a printour of where we do not Trust.
When we are angered and resentful, it tells us we have been hurt and are afraid of more pain.
When we are sad and filled with regret, it reminds us we have forgotten to fill each moment with Love.

Love is the answer…..to everything that confronts us.
Love is healing.
Love is helpful.
Love offers gratitude to everyone, including ourselves.

Trust will settle every problem now.
Doubt comes from fear and distrust of ourselves and our world.
Trust engenders the willingness to listen within to the place of certainty in power and peace.
Trust begins the process of surrendering to the Voice that responds to all things with healing Love.

Forgiveness offers everything we want.
When we hold our limitations, mistakes, unconsciousness and belief in lack in our minds, we rechoose experiences that are painful and feel dramatic and lack in love and joy and peace.
When we erase all that we have falsely learned and leave only love and light in our minds, we can choose again for the beauty and goodness, abundance and kindness we deserve.
When we are willing to undo the untruth and reclaim the Higher Truth within, we begin the journey to a life of perfect Trust in the Love within.

Life is meant to be a place of healing, learning and growth in spiritual consciousness.
Life is a perfect reflection of the unhealed and stormy places within our past, calling for love.
Life offers us a gathering of souls calling forth the best we can remember to be given freely.
Life is a co-creation designed by the Higher Us to awaken us to live our Holy Purpose.

So today let us recommit to do no harm.
Let us remember to stop hurting ourselves with unkind or critical thoughts or words.
Let us stop behaving in ways that are not beneficial, inspiring and for our Highest Good.
Let us give ourselves the very Best we know with thoughts, words and activities.

The more we benefit and bless ourselves, the more we bless and benefit others.
And so it is.
I am loving you and me as One,
Betty Lue

Throughout this toilsome world, alas!
Once and only once I pass;
If a kindness I may show,
If a good deed I may do
 To a suffering fellow man,
Let me do it while I can.
No delay, for it is plain
I shall not pass this way again.

Miracles

Tonight I begin a Miracles and Master Mind group at Unity Center for Inspired Living. (See description below.)
I am combining two new thought processes to expand and integrate what is essentially the same.
Having been a student of the Course in Miracles since 1976, I am aware of its everlasting value.
I have worked with the workbook lessons through at least 17 years.
Each time I teach, facilitate and lead a Miracles group, I am delighted and deepened in my realizations.

Like Life, the Course in Miracles invites us to awaken to our true identity and live trusting God within.

As I was awakening, I heard from within.
Love is the answer, whatever the question.
Trust will solve every problem now.
Forgiveness gives us everything we want.
There is nothing to do.

So simple and clear.
So obvious and real.
So powerful and all-encompassing.
And still our ego seeks answers, defenses, compromise and riches busily doing more and getting more.

How can we change our minds and awaken to see, hear, feel and know the simple truth is within?
When we are ready, we will find a teacher or a teaching which will resonate with our quest.
When we are willing to let go, we will allow Higher Power to lead the way to Peace.
When we love and trust and respect the Goodness within, we will accept all the Good available to us.

The quest is erasing all doubts and fears and years of trying, to allow the Truth of Our Identity and Love be revealed and remembered.
We are the Ones we seek, the Love we long for and the respect we deserve.
We are the Ones who can offer us peace and open the door to heaven here and now.
We are the Ones who can know what is Good and Whole and Loving.
We are the Ones………

The miracles of life all come from Love.
Everything that comes from Love is a miracle.
When we are in Love, everything is a miracle.
Love is the answer and Gratitude leads the way.

Are you ready for a life of Love?
Are you willing to be the One?
Are you open to listening within for guidance?
Are you trusting in the goodness within You?

I am loving and celebrating the One We Are,
Betty Lue

Perception Is Key

What we perceive will depress us or inspire us.
What we believe will wound us or heal us.
What we teach will either curse us or bless us.
What we give will either deplete us or prosper us.

Forgive everyone for ignorance.
Give your best to the very end.
Trust there is purpose in everything.
Forgive and pray for those who hurt you.

This is the time for us to be the Ones who are willing to see and believe differently.
We are the willing Ones who can step out and speak up for a better way.
We can forgive those who see only a limited view and expand our vision to include all with Love.
We can free ourselves and others by opening our heart with forgiveness for all as a blessing to ourselves.

Easter is a time of renewal and rebirth.
Easter is a symbol of resurrection and eternal life.
Easter offers us the opportunity to choose again.
Easter frees us from guilt, blame and fear.

Let go of your learned images and beliefs about Easter and Resurrection.
Listen within and write down what you hear and know and feel.
We are making our images real with our thoughts and words.
We are now able to heal the separation, the fears, the unforgiveness.

Let us perceive things differently.
Let us join with every faith and creed, every people and culture…
Let us seek above all to encourage everyone to step out of darkness and prejudice into the Light.
Let us behold the better way of living where everyone is our neighbor, our family and friend.

We are all co-creators of heaven or hell.
We are all sounding the alarm to join or to fight.
We are all singing songs of rejoice or despair.
Let us lift to the Highest Heights and do what is right and fair for all.

Our children and grandchildren inherit our misunderstanding and mistakes.
Their future is in our forgiveness of all debts and painful history right now.
Our willingness to begin again with a new canvas to create a new vision starts in our minds.
Together we can rewrite history and begin a new chapter with Love at the core.

Listen to the Heart of God in You.
Trust your inner voice.
Do whatever you can do.
Extend Peace to everyone.

Begin with Peace within.
Create Love all around you.
Express Happiness with whatever you do.
Enjoy the Love and Light shining in You.

Happy Easter time or rebirth, remembering and renewal.

LOVE
There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer;
No disease that enough love will not heal;
No door that enough love will not open;
No gulf that enough love will not bridge;
No wall that enough love will not throw down;
No sin that enough love will not redeem.

 It makes no difference
how deeply seated may be the trouble,
How hopeless the outlook,
How muddled the tangle,
How great the mistake.
A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all.

If only you could love enough, you would be the happiest
and most powerful being in the world.

Living On Purpose

How can you tell when you are living your purpose?
Those who live on purpose are at peace.
Those who live on purpose are happy and content.
Those who live on purpose feel good about what they are doing.
Those who live on purpose feel fulfilled in their lives.

Being on purpose is not seeking to achieve something more.
Being on purpose is allowing your inner spirit to lead the way.
Being on purpose is loving being alive and giving with joy.
Being on purpose is living in a way that you could for the rest of your life.

Some would say on the spiritual or inspirational path….
Peace is our single goal.
The aim of all our living here.
The end we seek,
Our Purpose, our Function and our Life. (from ACIM)

The Peace I speak is the Piece of Good You Are here to be and do and give and have.
The Piece of Good You Are to be is allowing all your Goodness to shine through everything your think and say and do!
Our Purpose is very simple and very clear.
It is to be what we are here to be, in whatever calling, worldly career or profession we have.

We are created by Love as Loving
We are created by Joy as Joyful.
We are created by Power as Powerful.
We are created by Peace as Peaceful.

When you are fearful, you are not on purpose.
When you are angry, you are off purpose.
When you are upset, you have lost your way.
When you are conflicted, you have forgotten.

Life is simple and clear.
We are here to find our path, stay on purpose and demonstrate the Powerful, Peaceful, Joyful and Loving Beings we are created to be.
When we find this place, just right, we are to own and honor, respect and value ourselves and our way.

Living on purpose invites us to be grateful
Living on purpose encourages us to stay focused.
Living on purpose requires us to be conscious.
Living on purpose shows us how to love ourselves well.

I am loving you in living on purpose everyday in everyway with everyone, including yourself!
Wake up and be grateful for the beauty of being alive!

Do You Know What You Are Doing?

Off to be with Petaluma Grand children, so this will be shorter this AM.

Do you know what you are doing?
If not, forgive yourself  and the experience with respect instantly.
Choose again for the healing, helpful and holy purpose you really want!
All can be reversed in time and space, when you release your negative or positive attachment.
Our Judgment holds the emotion and situation in place.

To let our emotional reactions lead our choices is folly.
Fear begets fear.
Attack begets attack.
Resentment encourages resentment.
Being in conflict internally sets up outer conflict and arguing.

Life is quite simple.
If you don’t know what you are doing, you will make mistakes.
If you are wise and loving in your choices, you will experience wisdom and love.
If you are emotionally reactive without rational thought, you will reap emotional reactions.
If you stop and quiet your mind and listen within to your place of knowing, you will know what is best.

To become sane when we are having a crazy emotional reaction, ask yourself sensible questions.
Do I want peace instead of this?
Do I prefer to be helpful or hurtful?
Do I want to extend love and healing or fear and uncertainty?
Am I willing to have a clear purpose to all my interactions and choices?

Our culture continues to teach us that emotions are real and trustworthy.
Our culture demonstrates to our youth that getting violent and being out of control is expected.
Our family systems show us that divorce and abuse are the standard when people do not agree.
Our media gives us pictures of war, yelling and disrespectful conduct are today’s accepted standard.

Let us stop and examine our own behavior.
We are modeling what we want out world to be.
Is it not time we take full responsibility for our choices in dress, language, work habits and relationships?
We are the ones creating the experiences we are giving the next generation and we can choose better!

I take full responsibility for expressing only love in all my relationships.
I am willing to forgive and heal any place in myself that I am not totally loving.
I am open to be the one to heal the past and choose again for the best I know right now.
I am content to extend peace and give love and wisdom to those who I encounter.

I am willing to be conscious and know my intention and spiritual goals in all my interactions.

Loving you and me in waking up!

Foolish or a Holy Fool?

Are you foolish?
Do you want to believe things will change, when you stay the same?
Do you try to trust someone and deny what you see and feel and hear them say?
Do you make up myths and fantasies, magical thinking, and fail to do the personal work?

People sometimes are so busy complaining about others, they have no time left for their own work.
It seems easier to blame another than to choose to heal, grow and change ourselves.
Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is foolish.
Experimenting with thoughts and word, attitudes and behavior will always yield changes.

The Fool in the Tarot symbology is fearless, adventurer, traveler, carefree and happy.
What would it take for you to be fearless, an adventurer, carefree and happy?
For me, it takes, forgiving myself for believing in the errant and emotional personalitites.
For me, I must drop my trust in others ever changing minds and moods and trust in the Spirit within.

The Holy fool knows that human relationships are changeable when guided by emotions.
The Truth within knows we cannot trust ourselves or others when we rely on our patterns.
The Wise Self does not count on those who are limited, fearful and needy for consistency.
The Foolish One pretends to be what he fears he is not and deceives himself and others.

I know I do not know about the changeable personality in me and you and our world.
I know I can only change myself and choose to become more conscious, more aware and more at choice.
I know that my thoughts, words and behavior are creating the experiences I want to have.
I know that I can only influence by example not by threats, demands and wishful thinking.

My wisdom is in realizing that I have work to do.
My wisdom is knowing that I do no and cannot know without listening within.
My wisdom shows me that only when I am willing to trust the Voice within can I live at peace.
My wisdom tells me I am here to conceive, believe and commit to living the Highest Truth I know.

The work here is mine.
The work here is daily.
The work here is rewarding.
The work here is my Holy and Healing work.

I am willing to be the One.
I am willing to always do the Work.
I am willing to be fearless and carefree and happy.
I am willing to listen within, trust and respect what I hear and know and take the risk fearlessly.

I am willing to do the Work.  Are YOU?
Betty Lue
